About this Apprentice Employer

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is the independent safety and economic regulator for Britain’s railways and the independent monitor of Highways England. We are here to ensure the network operates safely, reliably and provides value for taxpayers and customers.

This is your chance to be part of the team whose mission is to be innovative, forward thinking and collaborative, providing expert advice, support and solutions to enable ORR to operate efficiently and effectively. This busy directorate provides IT, facilities, human resources and finance management to the ORR.

We want to improve the diversity of our staff and increase the opportunities for people from different backgrounds to begin a career in the civil service. ORR has been very successful in recruiting apprentices into a range of roles and you would be joining an organisation which has a good system of support in place and an existing group of staff who are further along in their apprenticeships.
