About this Apprentice Employer
Since 2009, TfL, Crossrail, their suppliers and the London Transport Museum have employed more than 8,750 apprentices. They have worked on vital infrastructure projects including the modernisation of key Tube stations, the construction of the Northern line extension, and the redesign of London’s road junctions to make them safer and better for everyone.
What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships provide you with on the job training and responsibilities from day one. You’ll spend 20% of your time working towards an industry recognised professional qualification, this may be one day a week or through a structured programme. The combination of work and learning allows you to develop your learning through practical experience.
We’ll invest in your training and pay you at the same time.

What’s on offer?
We offer 3 different levels of apprenticeships:
- Advanced Apprenticeships, Level 3
- Higher Apprenticeships, Level 4 and Level 5
- Degree Apprenticeships, Level 6
Our starting salaries vary depending what level apprenticeship you are applying for:
- Level 3 (Advanced) £19,268
- Level 4 (Higher) £20,231
- Level 5 (Higher) £21,243
- Level 6 (Degree) £22,305
You’ll gain qualifications that vary from the equivalent of an A-Level , to a Higher National Diploma and even a Degree.
